I started Ceri’s Cakes in 2010 after managing a bakery in Leeds since I was 16.
I was eager to get back to working in a bakery again after I had my children but I wanted to start my own bakery. Due to my little boy being on the Autistic Spectrum, I needed to work from home so that I was around for his needs. I started working from home in 2010 and within a year I had gained a huge following of customers.
I have run this successful business ever since, resulting in being booked up months in advance. I am currently expanding the business and I am searching for a catering kitchen or shop now that I have support for my son in place.
I have a Level 2 food and hygiene certificate for catering and a diploma in food safety, so you know that my cakes are made to the highest of standards.
I am based in St Helier and specialise in birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, christenings and any other special occasion.
I use my unique talents to turn the finest ingredients into your finest memories.
You can look on our Cakes section to see the different types of cakes, cupcakes and push pops I have made for customers in Jersey over the years.
The business became a member of Genuine Jersey in March 2015. This means that all of the butter, eggs, milk and other ingredients (where possible) are also Genuine Jersey ingredients. I only use the best organic Jersey ingredients in my cakes!
My awards include ‘Best decorated Easter cake’ in the Royal Jersey Spring Show 2015, and "Artist of the world's super awesome cake".
I have also been featured in several magazines and on the English Wedding Blog.
